During his very first acupuncture treatment, sound asleep with 10 needles in place

Lenny was involved in a RTC 3 years ago and has subsequently failed to return to his previous level of activity.  His owner suspects he is in pain, but due to his stoic nature he rarely vocalises pain.

On examination, Lenny had significant truncal sway at walk with a severely limited range of joint movement. He has marked muscle wastage over his hind limbs and pain on movement of elbows and wrists.

Lenny had 4 acupuncture treatments (1 treatment weekly for 4 weeks) and his owner reported an improvement after each treatment. He was brighter and happier in himself and was moving much easier and with more enthusiasm. We will be continuing his acupuncture with increased periods between treatments.
